The Great Spirit of the Mussel

Welcome, friends. This is your host, Tracy Shoolman. In today's episode of Gaia Translate the Clan of the Great Spirit of the Mussel sings the song of gratitude for the light of awakening within the human heart, as they have and place the delicate shell of their hope into the hands of our choosing, as we are the ones that may serve their species nothing less than the very opportunity for their continuance. Great Spirit of the Mussel: We have and are willing, sister, to honor your awareness with our own. We are that which are understood as The Great Spirit of the Mussel. Some understand us by other names, and some by our general physiology as bivalve. We would offer that when one has and seeks to call forth that which would be offspring, we have different methodologies that suit our nature in your own. Do you not hold that which is the seed of your intent, that which would be beginnings of life in the womb, which is a most delicate environment? Is there not that which is the fluid, the amniotic fluid in which those seedlings of yours have and know themselves well-nourished, and gently held as that which is the maturation has and occurs, yes? 

While that which may be understood as the womb in which our offspring have and are called forth into form is that of the greater ocean, for we have and know ourselves as that which is different in manner, if not in intent, in the calling forth of our own issue. As such, it has not been that which has been brought to the forefront of our awareness as a point of deep concern until recent seasons. We speak of the biology of the waters of the great oceans in where we have and live, and where we have and seek to call forth our own issue, our offspring, and those who have and are of our nature, yes? 

Much as the fluids in which your own seedlings have and grow within the belly require that which is most particular to that of which they have and serve in this manner – the amniotic fluid, yes – so too the waters of the Great Seas know themselves in service to the cradling of our own intent, as we have and would seed the waters with that which is the potential for our own expression. 

In several parts of the Great Waters, there has and is a growing imbalance in that which would be understood as the pH level or acidity. We are in our structure in our full maturity, much as in your own sturdier, more able to withstand shifts in the level of the acidity or alkaline balance within the waters. This is not that which is also available to those who are newly called forth in the potential of their expansion in flow as mussel. Much as the delicate skin of your newborn, those who are our own offspring, our issue, have fine and delicate structure to that which you understand as the shell. 

We have and know the grief in our heart that so many of our own offspring who hold the potential of our own continuance within them are finding themselves as that which is unable to sustain the structure with which they are required to grow within the shell, the outer casing, the exoskeleton. It is most abraded by that which is the acidity in the waters. Your species has considered us a food source of some dependency, we would observe, and through that it has come to the awareness of those who farm us. Is it not wise, cousins, if not for our own wellbeing as that which through the detriment of our own flow, certainly would not serve the fill the bellies of your own species as that which is the ecological imbalance of the Great Waters, has and flows more and more rapidly in the direction of increasing acidity. 

We would invoke your awareness and the grace of your will to embrace this knowing and to perceive the greater expanse of its consequence. For in addition to the increasing acidity that has and is most present in certain parts of the waters, there is that which you appear to be in greater awareness of, and that is the rising of the temperatures. We are not so blessed as other members of our communities within the waters to know ourselves “fleet of fin,” as it were. Our mobility, while we offer we have that which suits our nature, our nature is not designed to accommodate such rapid shifts in the ecology of our environ as have and are upon us at this point in our histories. 

There are those who know themselves able to be carried further and further northward, or deeper into the waters as we are able, for that which is the ambient temperature is still adequate for our own need state, and able to offer us that which is sufficiency of climate, such that we may know ourselves in a song of wellbeing. 

We are feeling great shifts within the waters, and we have been guided and we are aware that those who are of the human awareness, consciousness, have within them the gift of adaptation to that which you have and are calling into imbalance through that which is a great and timely shifting of your will. As you have and accept the blessing of awareness, and we are but one of many members of the greater community or society, if you will, and there are many of them who reside within the waters who have and are enveloped in the plague of shifting environment that has been called upon us of late. 

We turn to your awareness and we invoke it and offer gratitude. For we feel there is a great openness of your heart – the clan of the human collective we speak to, in respect. For we feel you are at a place of choosing, choosing that which is the rebalancing, the recleansing, the cessation of additional destructive components or elements that are discharged into the atmosphere and into the waters directly that have and through their nature are unable to do other than to shift that which is the chemistry of our environ. 

We invite you to hold this wisdom against your heart and to turn your awareness to the delicate and sacred environ that your own offspring have and require for them to have and be born fully informed and able to sustain themselves under your care at first. To know those who have and are our children, however foreign they may seem, unable to be called forth into that which is a sustainable life form through that which is the only option that we have is a deep wounding in our heart. While it may not appear that we seek to hold and coo and tend in the manner that humans do to your children, we would appreciate your willingness to accept that we do grieve when those that we have through our nature seek to call forward into a physical form as mussel are never offered that opportunity, for we are unable to deliver them into a womb that is not tainted and does not wound. 

We invite this comparison, not to cause distress, simply to seek a small understanding of how this wounds our heart. We do not deny that there are greater things afoot. For if we have and find there is no place of balanced waters in which to know ourselves able to continue, this does not bode well for the greater continuance of our nature in these circumstances, yes?  

We have and hold a place of hope that vibrates deeply within us, the hope that what we have offered and perhaps simply your own desire to continue to consume those of our nature will be sufficient to call forth that which is a timely shift in the directions of the flow of this great imbalance. Is it not wise to honor that which has been brought to the forefront of your knowing, cousins, as it has and serves all, that which is the cessation of current patterns, habitual, and offering that which you may perceive as indulging your need states and your patterns of lifestyle that you have and call to yourselves at this place in your history. We feel it is a place of awakening, and for that we are grateful, and we have and would invite all who are willing to hear our song and to hold that which is the delicate shell of our hope close to your own heartplace, and to offer as you are willing that which is the rebalancing of the Great Waters, and if not that, we would be most grateful for the cessation of the continuing imbalance as you have and are so willing. 

We have a great relationship – we speak of “great” as “vast” – with many, many other members of life within the Great Waters, and we feel there is a grieving that has and rises from their hearts as well. We would be most grateful to know that you will hold that which is encased in the delicate shell of our hope and that you have and are willing to tend it, and nurture it, and place it in that which are the sweet waters of possibility for our continuance and our companionship with many others as fellow organisms of life in this plane, yes? 

We do not seek to continue with this thread upon the loom of your awareness. We feel we have woven it sufficiently, and we appreciate that which is the great opening of your own awareness with those of your species, daughter, such that all may enter into that which is the chamber of our light as we have served our song. 

We have offered that which we are so grateful to have placed upon the plate of your awareness, and to beseech your greater clan in service to our heart’s intent. It is complete. We have and would take our leave, as you have and are so willing to grant it. 

Channel: Blessings, Great Spirit of the Mussel. I have and will serve your song. And I acknowledge the profound grief of your heart at all that has and is unfolding. 

Great Spirit of the Mussel: It is accepted, daughter. We would be most grateful to also have you acknowledge that which is the vibration of our hope. For that too holds a place of honor in our awareness, yes? 

Channel: I have and acknowledge the vibration of hope in the heartplace of the Great Spirit of the Mussel. Blessings be.
