The Great Spirit of the Lentil

Welcome, friends. This is your host, Tracy Shoolman. In today’s episode of Gaia Translate, the Great Spirit of the Lentil steps forward with a blessing of forewarning for our human family. They have and offer what they describe as a small wisdom and a great opportunity as they perceive there will be none more treasured and valuable than a sack of lentils carried by one’s side. Great Spirit of the Lentil: Can you eat the coin of the realm? We realize that is an archaic term for the currency of the day, and while one may be able to exchange that which would be the gold that jingles in the purse, or that which has and represents your financial state in those banks and other vaults of electronic care that you have and post that which is your financial resource of these days. Yet, without the willing exchange of that which is the coin of the realm for that which has and would provide physical sustenance to your life forms, it is in truth simply a theoretical understanding of value without worth. 

We step forward as the Great Spirit of Lentil. It is so. We knocked upon the door of your awareness as lentil soup, and that is how many use us and how many enjoy us in our flow. There has and approaches as we perceive it a point in the collective experience where there will be none more treasured or valuable than a sack of lentils that is carried by one’s side. We are not bragging and offering that we have and in our own personal expression have any greater value than any other legume or other food stuff that has similar qualities to our own, that which may know itself able to be cultivated in various climates and under various conditions … that is certainly useful, yes? That which has and may be dried and transported for great distance and simply reconstituted or prepared in a way that is consumable and therefore offering you that which would be the gold of adequate nutrition in requirement for your flow. 

We have been a great companion to your clan, daughter, and while we are not considered that which has and shines as emerald, that which has and is considered beautiful to look at, perhaps unless one has a rumbling belly, and then there is nothing more beautiful than the site of our presence in your field or that of other food stuff, we do not deny. As we have and would observe there is much afoot in terms of the shifting of the climate, as you would understand it, in terms of the shifting of available resource and adequate conditions in which to have and harvest it. Should you continue in your current choosings, dedicating much that is the land for that which is the grazing of the livestock or the growing of feed to feed their bellies so that then you have and may feed your own upon them. 

This is, well, we are not judging. Simply, we offer, as we perceive it going forward, less than efficient and your clan may find it quite useful, in truth quite valuable, to turn away from that extended period of cultivation. It takes to cultivate that which has and is enrobed in flesh to the point where you have and may find it adequate for your consumption, and in terms of actual ratio of energy input of land dedicated to such cultivation and of the requirement of resource to cultivate therein, you will find that we have and may serve as a higher return upon the investment of your resource and flow. 

One, unless one keeps that which is the cattle or other in its life form, and therefore also requiring the constant nourishing, watering and tending, as that which companions you. It is difficult without adequate refrigeration or other methods of preservation to carry along that which would be the meat or the flesh of another, as you have and find yourself in journeying as you have and find yourself in seasons where that which was once bountiful may be scarce in the finding. We are not wishing this upon you. We have and present ourselves not only as a long-term and worthy companion that has in truth assisted in the maintenance and well-being of your clans, your tribes, your communities for many more thousands of years than you may be aware. The ability to identify what you consider the prima face agricultural engagements is not equivalent to those who would harvest that which has and grows wild, which occurred for many, many thousands of years prior to the dedicated cultivation of that which is the lentil and other forms of plant resource, or legume, as you understand us. 

We have and know ourselves able to present a most fertile crop, if you will, both in the northern climes and that of the southern, and we would observe there are not so many of the plant kingdom that can withstand such great variety of conditions of soil, of light, of temperature, and of quality of, if you will, climate. And in so, we have and place ourselves at the beginning of the queue, as it were, as that which has and offers great blessing to those of your clan wherever you have and may know yourself as that which is your home soil and in service to wherever you have and may find you are in requirement of migration of flow. 

And are we not also that which is most convenient to transport, both as a resource for, if you will, food on the go, in that which has and in our particular construct offers adequate sufficiency of protein and other requirements for the wellbeing of your particular species, and in truth other members of life in flow. 

And so we step forward to invite you and to with a bit of foreshadowing as we perceive it should things continue as they are, that which has and would be highly guided the increasing cultivation, the increasing gathering and consumption and storing a bit of that which would be our expression, our seed in the dried format, such that should conditions require, you will not know yourself only companioned by an empty belly. We are relatively inexpensive in comparison to other options as we perceive it. We are plentiful and we are hardy, and we are that which is willing to continue our service to the physical wellbeing, the nutrition, and that which has and is the sustenance and continuance of your clan. 

We do seek a small boon, a blessing from those of your clan, daughter, and that is to scatter our seed when it is viable across those which have and are the lands that are not particularly designated for this or that to share our expression in the woodlands, in the plains, in the grasslands, and the prairies, and the other places where we would take root and therefore grow to offer not only those of your clan as they may be passing through, but that of all other life in flow. And in this we may also know ourselves able to be and continue in our flow.  

To remove that which has and is the pesticides, the toxins, the manipulations, if you will, of our genetics is useful. You may find that it is difficult to release that which you have grown, if you will, convinced that has and benefits you and all through the application therein and this is, if you do not mind us offering, a distortion. For we, while we understand ourselves as mighty resource, as one has and paints us with that which is toxin to repel those of the insect kingdom and other who you would seek to discourage from consuming what you consider your property and right. We are not arguing this. We simply would suggest that which you place upon us, that which is placed within the waters, that which runs off of us and into the soils is consumed by those of your clan and all others. And while you may not perceive that you consume it in any measurable manner, we simply invite you to look upon other aspects of that which has and is placed into the field of physical form, such as the plastic and other. And while you might not be able to perceive it, yet it has and becomes most ubiquitous in its flow. 

We do not seek to judge; we simply seek to serve. It is our honor to offer ourselves in this aspect of our flow, wherein our design has and requires the consumption of parts of our expression to assist us in the transport, and in truth the fertilization, as we have and seek to know ourselves in continuing expression, even for those who have and are hearty as we have and understand ourselves, at least in certain strands of our expression and able to withstand much change in short clock time. Yet, we too have and are not immune to that which is the increasing of the thermal atmosphere, the sun, and the strength of it upon us, as it has and evaporates available water, as it has and burns us when we are not offered adequate hydration, or even in truth protection from its unwavering flow. When that which is the waters of life have and wither in certain parts of this climate, how are any know themselves adequately hydrated to continue in useful functioning in flow? 

We invite your clan to offer our seed, the seed of our potential into that which would be a greater and greater amount of land mass in terms of more valuable currency for your own consumption as that which is the available resource has and diminishes in terms of the required constituents of that which is necessary for the continuance of many life forms in flow. 

There are others of our clan – we speak of the greater clan of legume – who have and also are able to serve in such manner that will be of great boon and blessing and shall become, as they have been in past, the currency of the realm, the coin of the realm. 

We do not need to repeat what all have and know. There are great shifts upon us and they have and gain with great speed and rapidity of expansion. And so, it is not premature or too far-sighted to establish now as you receive this song that which is the establishment of greater swathes of your land mass, and to turn it from that which has and supports less portable, less useful, less efficient investments of that which is the requirement to call forth adequate sustenance for your ever-increasing clan. 

There are those who have the coins in the purse at this point to declare “I need not have that peasant food. I need not consume legumes, and I may consume the flesh of another, which suites my taste and is not a burden on my financial wellbeing.” And that may be so. And yet, we have a bit of a greater view. Consider us standing upon a larger landscape of purview across that which is the span of our evolutionary flow. And in this, it is not that it serves us as much as you, in truth, to expand our cultivation and to offer us the blessing of scattering us into uncultivated landmass, wherein we may know ourselves free to grow. And this too shall serve many. For we have and are less available to other members of the life in flow. And this would be useful. 

It has and would also be useful as you have and determine how and in what manner to efficiently increase the cultivation without the toxicity, we would gently offer, of your pesticides, your potions, your applications, and your genetic modifications. We are not denying that there may be some that have and are useful; however, it is also useful to hold on to those in their original form. For there is a wisdom that is beyond understanding by humanity that resides within us. While you have and seek to adapt us to those human-induced shifts in the climate, that is understood. And yet, we would offer is it not also useful to shift the behaviors that have and act as toxins to the overall wellbeing of all who have and seek to know themselves in that which is the embodied expression of life in flow on this earth plane? 

It is this blessing of the offering of ourselves, our physical form and our intent to serve your wellbeing and that of your children, and that of those who come after who have and will thank you and will turn in gratitude, not only to you, my friends, but to that which is our own expression. We do not seek the gratitudes. We simply offer this as to the shift in the currency that holds the greatest value for those who have and are of your progeny in this plane. 

It is this blessing, the blessing of our willingness to serve, the blessing of our willingness to continue, and in truth to know ourselves in great expansion, as there are many who have and will find us the greatest treasure they could have or hold. 

And so, it is this small wisdom and great opportunity we have and place upon the plate of your awareness, Channel, and we invite you, as we invite all, to claim that which is a more intimate and profound respectful honoring and attuned relation with that which vibrates as lentil, however we have and may express in our flow. 

It is this blessing we sought to serve, and we have and would take our leave, and we offer gratitude for that which has and is the turning of awareness of the heartplace of your clan towards the light of what has and holds greatest value in service to the continuance of your flow. 

Channel: Blessings and gratitude, Great Spirit of the Lentil. Thank you for your blessing and thank you for your wisdom and your willingness to assist us. I am honored to be in receivership of your flow.

It is that we sought to offer. And as you have and would offer us the grace to take our leave, we would know it so.
