The Great Spirit of Raccoon

Welcome, friends. This is your host, Tracy Shoolman. During a heavy winter blizzard, I decided to place some birdseed out, more birdseed, really, rather, out in the bird feeder, and then I decided to cast some of the seeds and the nuts upon the snow so that the squirrels and the chipmunks and other ground-feeding birds would also have something because the snow was just so deep they wouldn't have anything otherwise. Well, imagine my surprise when a while later, I looked outside and I saw a rather large object out there, and it turned out to be a raccoon who was joining with the other ground feeders, enjoying the opportunity to have a buffet on top of the snow. Well, as you might have guessed, this is what led me to channel the Great Spirit of Raccoon. Dexterity of wit and adaptation are the gifts that we are offered by this Great Spirit in today's Gaia Translate. A transcript is available in the show notes for this episode at GaiaTranslate.com.  

Great Spirit of the Raccoon: We greet you. We are that which is the vibratory field of the Great Spirit of the Raccoon. We are not unacquainted, yet we felt it might be a small blessing of attunement to have and knock upon the door of your awareness in the manner we had and chose, such that you have and may carry with you that which is the physical outpicturing of the small guidance we seek to serve, yes? We would inquire of the Channel that she has and describes how she was made aware of our expression in her field, as she has and is so willing.  

Channel: Greetings, Great Spirit of the Raccoon. And yes, I'm willing. There was a blizzard a few weeks back and I had placed some food, some bird seed in the bird feeder and also sprinkled several handfuls of it upon the snow for those who could not or do not feed out of a feeder but are ground feeders. 

Great Spirit of the Raccoon: That is accurate, daughter. And as the blizzard had and made itself known across the span of the entire day and into the night, we offer you were a bit surprised to see not only the regulars pull up a seat at the table of your grace, that of the squirrel and that of various birds, but yet also, did you not, with some surprise, acknowledge that that which has and was a member of the raccoon family had and found its way to the buffet?  

Channel: Yes, I did. Thank you. 

Great Spirit of the Raccoon: You were surprised as you had not noticed or been aware that we have and are part of local environs, and that is as we choose it to be, yes? However, when circumstances demand, and there is no other resource, we felt it would be unwise to have and turn down that which is the buffet of your generosity that you had placed so beautifully upon the surface of the deep snows, where those who have and are of the animal kingdom could avail themselves, yes?  

Channel: That is accurate, yes. 

Great Spirit of the Raccoon: If we had been offered the opportunity to select from the menu the meal we might have chosen as our preference, and you would have been so willing to serve it, we would suggest it may not appear as those seeds and nuts you sprinkled so generously upon the snow. And yet, we are not one to deny ourselves a full belly when there is no other option in the neighborhood. And so we adapt a bit and we are not ungrateful. We are in truth most grateful for your willingness to serve those members of your community who find it a bit challenging when there is such a great expression as blizzard, which has and covers up access, if you will, to our usual resource. 

We offer this example to point out the wisdom or discernment, if you will, when one is and finds oneself in unusual circumstance. One has and employs one's discernment. We would offer to attune with whatever resource has and may be offered to support the continuance of our physical expression in this or that season. As a species, we are known not only for the dexterity of that which are our paws, but that which is the dexterity of our wit, as we have and are superior at that which is attunement of adaptation, such that we have and when we enter into a particular environment, we are able to shift our behavior adequately and in a reasonable amount of clock time to have and assure as we are able the continuance of our clan. 

While we are not suggesting those of your species also park themselves beneath the bird feeder in a blizzard and to eat what has and may be offered or scattered upon the snow, we would suggest from this aspect of the metaphor that those of your species may find it a point of high discernment to seek, to adapt to that which is a highly changing environ and one that has and may not offer a full menu of options for those who have and seek to continue to dine in this plane and to continue feeding those who have and are their issue. 

This has and is, as we perceive it, already a storm of circumstance or blizzard of circumstance to continue our analogy for many of your species depending upon the geography of their current location. And we would invite you to open your awareness a bit to the potential that there are many, many more of you who may find yourselves in this rather unusual position. We are not offering a threat. We are actually and have stepped forward again to offer the blessing of the mantle of your own raccoon nature. There are aspects of our nature that have and are already most comfortably claimed by that of your species and that is and pleases us. Are you not curious? Are you not dexterous? And for many, you have also claimed that aspect of your raccoon nature that is adaptable to changing and shifting circumstance and environments. 

However, there are many who have yet to fully align with this aspect, this potential boon or blessing, if you will, and we invite you and encourage you in truth, to open the arms of your heart place and to embrace fully those aspects of your own raccoon nature that will serve you most efficiently in the coming seasons of great blizzard of shift in the physical circumstance of this plane. Perhaps you will seek to apply that aspect of your own dexterity and we would suggest you contain it not only in that which is your hand or fingers, but also in your ability to conceive through your thought forms and to claim this with great enthusiasm. For it is a season where these particular aspects of your raccoon nature, one who is clever, one who is adaptable, one who is dexterous both in form and thought, has and holds the blessing of continuance firmly in their grasp. 

We cannot seek to ask or will the blizzard when it seeks to make itself a guest at our home. It is simply that which has and is when circumstances have and are in attunement for its manifest expression. You, however, have and are able through that which is the open and willing heart, the claiming of the great blessing of your own wit, your own mental and physical dexterity and your own raccoon nature as that which has and is superlative, we would offer, at adapting to various environments and climates. 

You will be well-served and we would be honored to have and serve that which is the mantle of this high attunement upon the shoulders of the will of all of your clan. And while we are perceiving that not all will seek to claim this blessing, there are sufficiency of numbers who have and will. We did not feel that it was useful or efficient to return to the back of the queue, which is great of those who seek to offer their guidance, their wisdom and their light to those of the human species. Rather we sought to run ahead a bit and to ask the by-your-leave of other members of the flow of life in this plane such that we may, if you will, gift you with that which has and may serve all with the timely acceptance of this light.  

We have and are grateful for the opportunity not only in our physical expression to consume that which you found rather unusual when you had and observed it, and yet it is that which has and holds us in good stead, our willingness to shift habitual behavior patterns and to avail ourselves of all that has and is offered, if you will, in the field of opportunity when it has and is in a place of high discernment to claim it.  

It is what we sought to bless you with, brothers and sisters, cousins, those who have and vibrate as children of the light of Gaia. We have been in moderate iteration members of the flow of life in this plane in a physical form for many, many seasons prior to your own recent arrival from our perspective. As such, if you will, as older cousin, we have sought to offer you this boon, and we have done so. In this we are in attunement with our willing intent, and we are grateful for the opportunity to serve it to those who are our cousins in flow in this plane, those of the human, clan, tribe, awareness, it is all one. We have and would take our leave with gratitude for your willingness to receive us yet again as we would seek to serve this blessing. And so, it is complete.
