The Great Spirit of the Mountain Lion/ Cougar

Welcome friends, this is your host, Tracy Shoolman. In today's episode of Gaia Translate, the clan of the Great Spirit of the Mountain Lion, which is also understood as Cougar, steps forward with a request. They seek to know themselves in a place of rebalancing, mutual respect, and honored relation with our human family. And to this end, they offer us a powerful gift. They offer the song of their heart and the opportunity to claim the rare blessing of high wisdom of a right relation, as we claim our mountain lion or Cougar nature. Great Spirit of the Mountain Lion: It was not always so, daughter. We have and are that, which is the vibratory field, the awareness, if you will, of what is understood as Mountain Lion, Cougar, and there are many other names that have and are attached by human awareness to the various cousins of our nature. There was a point in our mutual histories when those who were, although not native to the land, if you will, settled in earlier epochs, where we had a respectful relation with one another. Where it was so, there were aspects, there was game, if you will, that both of our species chose to identify as food source. And that was acceptable, for we both and each did not presume to claim more than was in requirement for our need state. Those times, that understanding has passed. 

As your clan and various aspects of it have moved upon the shores and up and through the territory of the land of the Americas, you have claimed much that was territory, home, and habitat to those of my species. It has created that which has forced us into smaller and smaller areas that more or less at times, less are able to sustain us in that which is the natural pattern of our flow. We have no interest in truth, in great engagement with those of your species.  

We rather enjoy our solitude and the solitude or companionship, if you will, of non-human relations that have and are part of our natural habitat. And yet we find this more and more challenging as there is less and less territory, land, place of support for our life force available to us at this point in our mutual history. 

We are aware that there are times of coming and times of passing, times of bloom and seasons of fading. And yet we do not feel it is timely yet to be that which has and knows itself no longer blessed in a physical form or as a member, a contributing member of the community of flow that has and knows itself sourced of the Gaia. While it is understood. We are considered pest or threat. We are considered that which is a trophy to have conquered, to have slaughtered, to have removed in fear that we would consume your own domesticated resource. And we do not deny it, for if that is what is available, are we not also those who have and would know a full belly, much as you would under the circumstance.  

We would offer there is that which is little understood of how we have and serve as part of the flow of Gaia. And yet we would invite you to consider what and how and why are we and have we been a part of this flow, of this song of physical life, of that which has and is the beauty of interrelation of those who have and know themselves as four-leggeds or two-leggeds in your situation on this plane. 

Do not deny as you are willing that all have and are called forth with purposeful intent, brothers and sisters, so we have and know ourselves as a worthy member of the greater community of life. And we acknowledge, so too, are you. It is simply a point in our mutual history we would seek to invite you to consider deeply in the solitude of your own awareness why it is that that which has and does not serve your immediate need state as food source or other resource therefore has less usefulness to you. 

While we do not deny it on that simple level, we invite you to embrace the understanding and awareness, the respect and the honor of those who came before, if not your own direct ancestry, then those who have and knew themselves a respected member of the community of the lands of America the North and America the South, wherein there was that which was the understanding of mutual relation, of respect, and of gratitude. For we hold great vibratory awareness and are not unwilling to have and bestow it on those who would seek to claim it for their nature when we are honored, respected, and acknowledged as a member, worthy, powerful, and willing of the greater community of life that we have and all are a part of the flow therein. 

We are aware that our presence is little felt at this point in your history and ours, and that is by design. We enjoy our solitude as we have offered. We also appreciate the opportunity to commune with those other members of the community of life that do not speak with the throat or the tongue, but rather with their heart and their intent. And we hear them most clearly and invite you to do the same.  

We seek to reacquaint ourselves as members of this great community, as those whose wisdom is not tossed aside as useless or as threat, as unworthy or as those who have and are afraid of our power, our prowess, and our light. We have not made ourselves that which has and seeks to target your species as our dinner or other. Rather, we have and invite you to reacquaint yourselves with those aspects of our nature, that which has and enjoys the ability to commune with those who have and speak with the throat of the heart, not only the mouth of the flesh, to have and respect the relationship that we have all been called into being as a part of. For there is not one who has and knows itself in any form of life in this plane that was not placed with great intent into this life that we know and enjoy upon this plane of existence, the planet, the earth, the Gaia light.  

It is the child who may cast aside that which as adult or one who has matured in full would scoop up and hold close to one's heart as sacred, as treasured, as holding and having great value. One might consider that which is the ember that has and was carried from point to point, bringing the song of a warm and vital flame, upon which and around which those of your species in various iteration and clan knew themselves able to be in continuance and flourishment, to have and warm themselves, to have and to cook their meal, to have and sleep at night. And yet, as a child, one might simply run ahead, forgetting that one must gently carry the ember of potential with one if one seeks to know oneself held and protected, warmed and able to consume that which your species seeks to roast over the flame before consumption.  

It is a quaint example, and yet, we would offer there is an ember that is being left behind by those of your own awareness. It is the ember of potential, the ember of that which has and offers the greater clan the opportunity for continuance in a manner that has and sustains, that has and offers equality of life, and that which has and is essential as the winter of imbalance is upon us. 

We invite you to call upon the wisdom in your own heart, and to understand what aspects of the flow of life as you would understand it, you have and may be leaving behind as you decamp from this point in your history, and are called to migrate by requirement to that which is the next encampment of your potential.  

We are not interested in sharing a glass of wine in a close tête-à-tête, if you will. However, we are most willing to be one who sits at the hearth fire of your potential and your respect and your acknowledgment that all have value, that all life has awareness, purpose, and serves in manners that may be foreign, little understood, or denied by those who hurry towards the next encampment and forget to carry the ember of the flame of potential for their own continuance with them in a place of honor and in truth requirement. We are aware we speak a bit obtusely, and yet it is our nature to have and observe from the, if you will, greater perspective as we are not so entangled in the weeds of daily existence that has and wraps around the awareness of your species. We simply seek to be acknowledged and we offer wisdom and awareness and that of great warrior, hunter, not only of the flesh but of the light, to those who have and are willing to embrace it. 

We invite you, those of clan of human, to embrace the wisdom of your ancestors and those who have and were in attunement prior to the recent arrival of the others of your kind, for they held great wisdom within their hearts, respect, balance and honor for all, and we invite you to embrace this wisdom and the power of a balanced and respectful relation with those of our own expression and all the children of Gaia. For while it may appear, as we have and move about in our physical relations, that we have little in common, we would offer, from our perspective, we have only that which is in common. And without that, there is not but silence, to companion one, when all has and settles. 

For those who are willing, we have and offer a prayer of profound gratitude and joy-filled anticipation for your open arm, as one who has and invites those who are little seen, and yet those who hear most clearly, to that which is the hearth-fire of your continuance, upon which we have and would accept that which is a seat at the table of a renewed and mutually respectful relation.  

We have sought this moment to clarify a bit the confusion and the distortion that we are extraneous, that we are extinct, that we are of old knowings. And while that may be true for several of our clans, yet we have and persevere, albeit with less and less grace, as we have and know our own native lands and territories, sliced away by your expansion and your lack of awareness of the grace of sharing your meal of existence with the other members of your community, as has and was custom for many seasons. 

We have and seek to know ourselves in a place of rebalanced awareness, mutual respect and honor, and we do not feel this is impossible. In truth, we have and are most keenly aware of the awakening of the heart-place, the remembering, if you will, of that which was such a powerful and beautiful flame, around which we would all share a balanced relation, in honor of Gaia. As difficult as it may be to perceive, she is one mother, who has and bears the many songs of life that have and are relation in this plane of existence. 

We have offered the song, albeit not a light, and entertaining one for some, and yet it is the song of our heart, and in truth, there is no other song we have and are compelled to sing. We offer the blessings of wisdom, of right relation, as the mantle of the mountain lion, the cougar nature, that is offered most willingly to those of your species who have and lift themselves to be in receivership therein. 

It is complete, daughter. We are grateful you have heard us and our quiet knock upon the door of your attunement. It is complete.
