Introduction: If you have ever wondered what it would be like to understand the thoughts and feelings of nature, welcome to the Gaia Translate Podcast. My name is Tracy Shoolman, and I am a nature mystic, a sound healer, and a channel. Greetings, friends. This is your host, Tracy Shoolman, with the blessing of choosing coming to us today from the Great Spirit of the Mouse Clan, in this episode of Gaia Translate. A transcript is available in the show notes for this episode at Gaiatranslate.com.
Great Spirit of the Mouse: We greet you, daughter. We step forward as that which vibrates as the Great Clan of Mouse. We would ask your grace in describing to us how it is you understand the character traits of the being in physical form that is your neighbor and member of community known as mouse.
Channel: Greetings and blessings, Great Spirit of the Mouse, Clan of Mouse. You are, well, a physical mouse is small, is very fertile at reproduction, and is able to get into small places and take up residency. And further, I would offer, is always gnawing at something or seeking to feed itself on something or another. And I also think you're cute, although I'm not sure I want you to be living inside my home with me.
Great Spirit of the Mouse: All of these things are common. We step forward as an example. That which has and multiplies rapidly is that which has and is small, yet can, if you will, infest a space with great rapidity we might offer when we have and are invited in. You may not consider yourself, daughter, as having invited in the little family of mice you hear within your walls. And yet, for this analogy, you would suggest that one considers the home or domicile as your thought-forms and we step forward today using ourselves as a metaphor for that which would be the mice of distraction.
We would suggest, gently, that there is a mighty infestation of that which has and vibrates with the frequency of the mouse of distraction that has and infests the domicile of most humans, their thought forms we speak of. Every time one has and opens the doorway to that which has and are other people's thought forms across the internet, across those various doors or portals, where you have and allow in one, and then another, and then another, and then another mouse of distraction. And while it may be enjoyable to see them scurrying into your domicile of your thoughts, once they have and find their way, these little videos and discourses, these temptations and mice of distraction that are on and coming through all the various openings of your awareness, be it the window of the internet, be it the doorway of media that you watch, be it that which is simply the exchange of thought forms with another human being.
We are the mice of distraction and we offer; we have and multiply as rapidly as you have observed. There is only one predator that has and may, if you will, close the door to our egress and that is your own will. It is useful to be aware that as one has and allows into your awareness various mice of thought forms, of suggestions, ideas, belief systems, or in truth, there are a great many mice of fear that have and are invited in through your willing consumption of that which you call the news, of that which has and appears and pops up much as we reproduce so admirably across that which you have and call Instagram or any other alphabet initial, or that which has and would be the computer devices in the screens, be they a computer or a television monitor or many other sources, your phone, for example, has and opens great doorways to the mice of distraction and we would suggest that you may not be aware of the influence or presence of these little mice of distraction during the day, for we appear to come and go. And yet at night, as we would offer, have you not yourself heard that which are the mice within your walls seeking to open up, that which would be a nutmeat or simply moving from one point or another in your awareness, perhaps keeping you a bit awake at night?
Is this not similar to those mice of distracted thought forms that you invite in in the day and wonder why they keep you up when you seek to quiet that which is the awareness of your field, as you seek to garner adequate rest and restoration?
Channel: That is accurate. I appreciate that, Great Clan of Mice. That is a very accurate description, at least for me.
Great Spirit of the Mouse: You are not alone. You are in no way singular. And while we do not deny that it is always useful to be informed, there is a point where leaving all of your windows and doors of your awareness open allows not only mice to enter into your domicile, and the longer you have and open the doors of that which is other, other thought forms, which may appear to be the mice of information, the mice of entertainment, the mice of curiosity, the mice of that which has and is quite fearful in your observation and consumption therein.
Unlike your physical friends, these mice have the intention to consume certain aspects of your energy field. Some feed upon your fear. Some feed upon your curiosity. Some feed upon that which is your desire to distract oneself from other mice that have already made themselves quite at home in your field of awareness.
To seek to remove this great infestation of the mice of distracted thought forms that have made themselves so at home that there are, if you will, great thoroughfares which are quite easily moved through, yes, traversed into that which is the open door of your awareness, is to start by choosing. You may choose to keep your doors and windows open and continue to invite those of the mice of distraction and, in truth, other energies that are perhaps larger and might seek to consume more than you would be pleased with, we might suggest. The choosing that we speak of is the choosing to close and perhaps lock that which is your doorways, your windows, and other points of egress that have and you open when you have and Google that and then end up scrolling or searching or seeking small distraction or entertainment, and these all have and move on in. We do not suggest that you are not able to open the windows and doorways of your own field of awareness and energetic attunement to that which you seek to call into your home.
It is simply to be aware that while you may open the door for the one who you've invited in, as you continue to keep it open, all the rest who have and are simply waiting for the opportunity will scurry in. And while some may be quite pleasant as companion, you may not find it as that which has and offers you a well-rested night's sleep, when there are a certain number who have and scurry about, keeping you awake as you watch them go to and fro along the corridors of your mind. To choose to close off these open invitations to the great influx or infestation of the mice of distraction, and in truth, those who have and seek to create a relationship of fear from which they may consume a relationship of entertainment, or that which has and would be a corner in which to hide from the other mice that have and distract you, is to be in discernment.
It is your choosing, your allowing, that has called forth this infestation. We do not speak only of you individually, daughter, but of all those of the human collective. And we, while we may be small and apparently unaggressive, that does not mean we are not wise enough to enter where we have been and find ease of egress.
Now you may say, I did not invite a mouse, we speak of our physical expression, into the house. And we would offer, you have kept the door open, not physically perhaps, but through these allowances of great amounts of flow, of that which has and is the scrolling, the meandering through great corridors of distraction. And with each door that you open, you invite another one of the family of the clan of the mice of distraction to join you, and to know itself, invited to reside within you.
We are not seeking to cause you fear, rather, to offer that you are in your choosing, and it is useful to comprehend what else is coming in, if you do not firmly close the door when you have allowed that which you had sought to have egress into your field. We speak of energy, yes, and we speak of thought forms of energy. We encourage, in truth, all who have, and become a bit addicted to this sense of relation, wherein it appears to be without any consequence, or if you will, with little or none.
Once these thoughts and these distractions have found their way into your energy field, we would observe much as when a crab clamps its claw around your finger, it is quite difficult to shake it off, although it may be small, when it seeks to hold on, and you have placed your hand where it can grab hold. It may be a while before you are able to dislodge this relation, which may not be pleasant in the experiencing therein. To accept that you are in your choosing, as you allow the mice of these distractions into your field, is to also accept that you may choose not to keep your windows and doors open.
We do not deny a breath of fresh air is useful, or even the invitation of that which you were searching for, or seeking to engage with, is unwise. It is simply to be aware, and as tempting as it may be to go and take a walk and leave your windows and doors open, you may not be as joy-filled as you lay awake at night and listen to the sounds of scurrying and rustling that have and keep you from your desired rest, yes? One is further guided to be cognizant, if you will, discerning, we might suggest, of consuming that, or leaving the door open, or opening the door in truth, or that which is your daily newscasts, your hourly and minute-by-minute updates of that which has and brings great fear, distress, or anguish to your heart. We are not suggesting that you disconnect yourself from all forms of media. We are suggesting that you, if you will, place yourselves on a bit of a diet, such that you have, and close the windows and the doors after a breath or two of fresh air, and not to continue to allow the other life-forms, not only the mice of distraction, but we would offer those insects and other expressions of energy in flow that you may not be so willing to share your domicile with. And yet, it does not take long for them to settle themselves, to make themselves at home, if you will, and perhaps to weave the web of greater fear.
And we mean no offense to the spider. It is this analogy of the mice of distraction who have and may smell that which you have left out on the counter, a big wheel of the cheese of your fear, or of your desire to have and know yourself, wandering the corridors of distraction when that has and may or may not serve your well-being, as you perceive. How, you may inquire, once you know your field so filled with all of these little mice of distraction that you have grown somewhat used to having so many companions, are you to ask them to weave and offer them Godspeed in their departure? It is, in truth, an exercise in acknowledgment that these have come in through your willing intent, and you may thank them, all of these distractions and thoughts that seemed so entertaining or soothing or titillating. As you say, I acknowledge that you have made residency here. I no longer see how you reside within the eaves of my awareness, there is no room here.
You thank them, and offer gratitude, for their timely departure, and then – and this is a point of high discernment, we might suggest – understand that they will simply line up again, and wait for you to open the door once more.
It is your choosing, to invite them back, or to claim that is sufficient for that point of my engagement. I am closing, the window has the winds of the winter of my own imbalance are rising, and I do not seek to get a chill. We are aware we have offered ourselves as a form of metaphor, and yet we feel it is useful to offer how quickly the mice of distraction multiply, as you have and continue the scrolling or searching or, if you will, wandering the corridors of your various sources of media that are so ubiquitous. It is understood there is a pleasure, an excitement, a sense of reward that comes from these little entertainments and distractions.
And so, we are not saying not to ever consume what we might describe as a sweet after the meal. However, if you consume an entire box of chocolates every time you go into the kitchen, you may find yourself displeased with what has and is added into your field, yes?
Channel: Yes, thank you, Great Spirit of the Mice, that is, the Great Clan of Mice. That is a marvelous analogy; I appreciate it. And I consume your wisdom.
Great Spirit of the Mouse: We felt it would be timely and it is useful to offer this small guidance and observation to the other members of your clan, for there is a mighty infestation of distraction that has and fills the domiciles of your own awareness quite effectively, as you have, and continue to keep the windows and doors of your own attention open and inviting all that has and is without within.
It is this blessing of attunement to your choosing, to the power of your will, to close the door when the winds of winter blow, and to shut that which would be the gate, if you do not desire to have another come and gather the harvest, the fruits of your harvest that you have been growing and tending to in the garden of your own creations. We are aware it is quite an infestation that has and fills that which are the waves of your media sources, and yet, the disconnecting therein, or of a gentle closing of the door, as challenging as it may be at first, when you have and understand that you are simply saying, it is sufficient. I do not seek to invite any other mice of distraction into my field. I am and will contain that which enters into my flow as I choose to do so.
It is this blessing of choosing that we step forward with. We do not judge. We simply observe, and there is only a certain amount of resource we would offer to go around. We do not mean this physically. We mean this of the energy of your awareness, and you are in your choosing as to whom you allow to nibble upon it.
It is no more than that. In this, we have offered that which we sought to present, and so, as you will it, we are not unwilling to exit that which is the gateway of your awareness, and to call upon and attend to other matters, yes?
Channel: Blessings and thank you, Great Spirit of the Clan of Mice, Mice of Distraction. I am grateful for your wisdom.
Great Spirit of the Mouse: It is complete. It is that we sought to serve, and so, we take our leave.
